Devil On Fire
The Devil On Fire costume shown here is a departure from tradition as it is for a woman (obviously). The Christian church gendered all Angels as male, as they often carried important messages from God; therefore an Angel thrown out of heaven into hell could only become a male devil. Other religions have angels and devils as genderless, and this person is definitely a woman!
The flame red fabric of this costume picks up on the fires of hell. Our friends at www.fancydress.com inform us that this costume is incredibly popular, especially at Halloween. The thinking behind the costume is that at Halloween many of their customers like to look glamorous rather than horrific!
