Taken from the Tim Burton film of the same name this character is obviously going to be painted with Burton's characteristic dark and menacing palate. This film draws on many gothic literary tales such as Phantom of the Opera and Frankenstein making this a great costume to add to our Halloween character gallery.

What makes this character so appealing is that despite the horrific addition of scissor blades in the place of hands (his inventor died before he could give Edward proper hands) the boy grows into a kind and emotionally aware character. The film was marked with the tag-line "The story of an uncommonly gentle man".
