Ghouls and Ghosts

So many of our ancient stories revolve around ghosts, that these characters are really ingrained in the collective consciousness. Anything that goes bump in the middle of the night sets our minds racing and before you know it, we are seeing phantoms floating out of the wall (or is that just me?)

In fancy dress terms ghosts are worth their weight in ectoplasm! There are two ways to go ghoulish, you could purchase a great costume like the one pictured here (this is from our pals at www.fancydress.com), or alternatively you can wear you own clothing and make yourself up. Fancydress.com stocks a range of great make-up from translucent white shades, Old Age (a cake make up that washes the colour out of your skin) or even a shade called corpse!

The long white robe slips on over your clothing so this is no trouble to wear, the hood covers your hair, so no fuss there! The mask is lightweight and fairly comfortable. I'm knocking off half a point because the chain in my sample costume was shorter than shown, but all in all 4 and a half good value skulls.
