Grim Reaper

The Grim Reaper is the personification of death, he wears a long hooded robe, the hood usually hides his skeletal face, the one pictured has his gaunt skull mask exposed. Death is usually seen carrying a scythe so that he is ready to roam around at midnight harvesting souls! In many depictions of death he also holds an hour glass with the level of sand running low - this symbolizes the fact that time is running low for all of us!

On a lighter note - as a fancy dress costume the Grim Reaper is so easy to wear, generally this costume slips over your own dark clothing. www.fancydress.com have kindly allowed us to use the image shown here, they have even managed to source a scythe that pulls apart into sections so that it can be ordered over the internet and sent by post!

Amy's Costume Review

This costume is a long robe, tied at the waist with a rope belt so it should fit most people. The great thing is that it can go over your clothes so no effort there! The mask is not of the highest quality, it looks a bit flat to start with but once you wear it for a while it warms up and moulds to the face more. They have not included the gloves, but to be fair what do you expect at this price? All things considered it's not the top quality but as it's such good value it's getting 4 and a half sculls.
