Many ghost stories feature Headless Horsemen with some tales dating as far back as the 17th century, before that word-of-mouth stories must have existed (however there are impossible to date). The general idea is that they can be found driving through the night to claim your soul! Headless Horsemen came to the foreground following the run-away success of the scare-fest Sleepy Hollow!

This costume is so cleverly constructed that it does look like you have had your head chopped right off! First the crown of your head is covered with a gory hat, your natural shoulder line is raised with inflatable shoulder pads and the costume rests on there above your head. The wearer can look out through the collar but others cannot see in!
