Helle's Belle

This Victorian-inspired dress would be ideal for one of Jack The Ripper's victims. This enduring unsolved mystery is shrouded in mystery with suspects becoming mingled with fictional characters, conjecture mixing with fact. Rest assured that the horrific crimes are not a fiction from a Victorian melodrama, none the less at Halloween this is the kind of character that can be seen walking the streets of London!

As we are so unsure about Jack's identity we asked our colleagues at www.fancydress.com to come up with a suitable costume for one of his possible victims. They selected this dress, a long costume covered with layers of ragged net.

Amy's Costume Review

The base of this dress is made of a yellow satin material with 2 layers of chiffon material; all three layers of the cloth are ripped and distressed. The dress fits well, but it would have been nice if the sleeves were included, so I'm knocking off half a skull. All in all I'd put my hair up and do dramatic make-up and be very happy to wear it.
