Medusa

Medusa is a famous character from Greek mythology and was originally the most beautiful of the Gorgon sisters. She was transformed into the creature we now know as a punishment from Athena. Her look was so terrifying that one look at her face would turn you into a pillar of stone.

This costume from our friends at www.fancydress.com picks up on the snake theme with sections of the costume decorated with snakeskin prints and a headdress with moulded snakes interweaving around the wearer's head.

Amy's Costume Review

This dress has opaque fabric covered over with net and snakeskin design. There are criss-cross sections in the middle for decoration, the sleeves are not attached and are fitted with net material. The headpiece is made of rubbery material but thankfully only covers the front part of the head or you would melt! The hair you can see in the image is not included, even so I'm still giving this full marks!
