The pumpkin has been a huge Halloween icon for many years. Most people think of this as an American tradition, but the Brits have been using them for years (they were originally known as Punkies - see Halloween history). Naturally Halloween revellers want to dress as a Jack-o-lantern but a huge circular pumpkin-shaped costume would be most cumbersome on trick or treat rounds!

Our friends at www.fancydress.com were excited when the fancy dress costume designers developed this sexy, pumpkin-inspired outfit. Orange and black are default colours for so many Halloween outfits, so these were used in this costume and were carried through into the thigh-high stockings.
