Halloween cashes in on our fears, drawing together single strands of apprehension to create a nightmare that is greater than the sum of the fears. Being attacked by a living killing machine, drowning and being eaten alive all combine in this costume.

That accepted, our friends at fancydress.com recommended this costume (apparently this is popular all year, but sells most at Halloween) and it made us laugh. The wearer puts their arms through Jaws' mouth into the attached trouser legs and then you add any pair of shoes!

This is obviously one for the boys! You know how hard it is to get them to dress up, this one is simple it slips on over their own clothes - so no effort there. They have to stick their arms out through the shark's mouth and through the attached jeans! It did make me laugh. The makers have added a flap so that the boys can drink whilst they are wearing this one, so although I wouldn't be seen dead in this costume it has to be a top score!
