Vampire Vixen
Vampires are a recurring theme in our Halloween mug-shot gallery and this suspect takes its inspiration from the Victorian originals but is very much more up-to-date! Bram Stoker's novel Dracula was published in 1897 and many of our visual references of Dracula and his other vampires are caught up in this time. This version retains the high collar from the man's evening cape and the bodice has some of the style for this era but the length of the skirt is undeniably more from our time!
According to our friends at www.fancydress.com this mini skirt wearing Vampire is very popular at Halloween allowing the wearer to look glamorous whilst still joining in with the party spirit.
