Legends as old as the hills tell of a human bitten by a wolf at full moon who then turns mad every subsequent full moon, transforming into a Werewolf, a part man/part wolf monster.

There are quasi-scientific theories that take the fact that the moon pulls the seas and oceans to form tides, and speculates that if it can do this, then surely the same force of gravity can have an effect on the brain (especially as so much of it is water), hummm. Watch out if Halloween falls on the night of a full moon!
